Our dinner was excellent... the best chicken Mole I've ever tasted. Portions were sufficient. Staff was friendly, but spoke no English. Beer and wine are available. It is not heated and it was COLD when we were there in Feb.

My wife and I took a day trip to San Sebastián. I was looking for an extreme authentic dining experience, small, side of the rode, 3 tables, hand made tortillas, and my wife would prefer to eat at the hotel. We found a great compromise in this restaurant. Authentic, family owned, speak very little English, 10 tables, amazing lunch special,... More

We usually stop here for.lunch. The restaurant is just across the bridge on the right. It is family run and they do not really speak English. So we always just have the special. There is always more than we can eat with friendly service and a bill that is very reasonable. The food is excellent. Do not be put off... More

It's the chicken mole that was the surprise. This little town in the mountains is the destination for a number of tours, and the restaurants have to cater to the vans and busses. La Lupita is convenient to the town square. Our tour sat at tables for 6 or 8, and were served pre-arranged offerings. The cheese quesadillas were ordinary,... More

We came for both coffee and tequila shots! Our server was very attentive a fast. The restaurant is large, bathrooms are clean, and the coffee and tequila were great! I would love to try this place out for lunch or dinner next time.

We drove a couple of hours just to have a late breakfast at La Lupita. I ordered the short ribs and was very happy with the dish. The five of us took a table outside on the patio and the waitstaff was very attentive, always checking on us. The food was delivered fresh and hot and with many flavors. I... More

We ate lunch here as part of a tour. Excellent refried beans, rice, machaca, chicken mole, and fresh tortillas were served family style, along with pitchers of fruit juice. This was a very tasty, fresh meal; we especially enjoyed the chicken mole, tender chicken breast with a flavorful sauce.

Went on a package group tour of San Sebastian. In the early afternoon, they took us to Comedor La Lupita for an authentic Mexican meal that included a delicious chicken mole, beans, rice and tortillas. The food was served family style.

We went for dinner. They serve a package meal. Tonight's dinner was machaca, re fried beans, rice, tortillas, chicken mole', and grape juice. The food is served family style and there is plenty of it. Everything was very good, especially the chicken dish-perfect flavor blend. Extremely reasonable price.
