This cafe has the best food in the area and lovely cakes. The staff are great too and always helpful and they are all dwyiethog/ bilingual which is great. The lunch time specials always give a great variety and there are always vegetarian options. If they know in advance that someone does not want gluten they sort that out for... More

Visited this cafe this afternoon and was very impressed by the lunch menu, homemade cakes and surroundings. Quite unexpected in such a location.

We had been told that the Sunday lunch at Caffir Cuenant was excellent and we were not disappointed. Gave starter a miss, but went for roast lamb, roast potato, mint sauce, homemade, proper gravy and veg. It was very good indeed. There were several other choices of main meals, all of which looked good. Puddings were varied and excellent. £30... More

Once again a marvelous meal at Caffi'r Ceunant, spiced plums with melon to start, chicken wrapped in pancetta with apricot and pine nut stuffing to follow and finally apple and spiced plum pie & custard. Stuffed to the gills, but very happy. If your ever near Abergynolwyn you MUST call in even if you only have anyone of their home... More

Excellent food delivered by friendly and efficient staff, if I could I would give more than 5 stars for service. Excellent no frills restaurant serving home cooking style meals which are perfectly cooked alongside some outstanding dishes eg the plaice served with prawns. I can totally recommend the excellent banana pavlova which ranks alongside the best puddings I have ever... More

Can we once again thank Hilary and all the fab team at Caffi'r Ceunant for a lovely lunch that was laid on for Headway Gwynedd. Everything was perfect including our impromptu celebration of a Golden Wedding of two of our members Valerie and Robin Dyer. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and can highly recommend. Don't forget our... More

Wonderful food. Friendly helpful staff. Nothing was too much effort, not even my awkward dietary requirements! I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Called in for tea & cake and were amazed at this little cafe. Fab cakes, food looked amazing, good quality & nicely presented. staff really friendly & chatty. Not a cheap cafe tho but you get what you pay for. Will definately return if we are in the area again.

Unfortunately for you, I did not manage to get a picture of this eye catching, mouthwatering creation before it was attacked! The picture shows some leftover (yes, being enjoyed whilst writing this review!!!) and it sits proudly on a dinner plate to give you an idea of the size! Yes, it was huge! Yum! Having contacted Hilary to request one... More

We called in for a snack on the Friday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. While we were there we started to talk to Hilary and mentioned how we had enjoyed the twice baked three cheese souffle and she said she would try and put it on the menu for the Sunday as we had booked Sunday lunch. When we arrived... More
