Took my parents last weekend and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Great roast pork and lamb and good starters with deserts to die for. Great overall meal served up by polite and friendly staff. Would be a shame not to go again. Thanks.

Very friendly service. Extensive menu and excellent food and all at reasonable prices. Could eat from the same menu in the bar area or the restaurant part. We felt like regulars rather than first-time strangers. Wonderful !

We were on our way to Llangennith on a Monday lunchtime and happened across the Britannia Inn by accident. The exterior has a certain amount of traditional pub charm, with ample parking and beautiful views from the beer garden across the estuary. We arrived without a reservation for the restaurant, but as there were only two of us, accommodating us... More

Hi Megan Thank you for your extensive review. Thank you for the points that you made. You were right that the mussels were imported, this is not usually the case but the local supplier was unable to obtain the local variety for a short time. The staff should have made you aware on this occassion, so we do apologise. More

Oh, that could have been so good, but just lacked some attention to detail. We ordered extra Herb dressed vegetables, which were not herb dressed, and more microwaved my wife thought, and why give us extra carrots when both meals already included carrots? Other vegetables were being served so why not include them? The Mash was more like Puree than... More

We ate here 4 times during a recent holiday. Only because it was the only place within walking distance. The first night went well, we had scampi/chips and steak baguette/chips both well cooked . Second night thai curry was good, but the Moroccan lamb tagine was horrible. It wasn't anything it should have been. Cubes of lamb and chunks of... More

Visited here having read an article about places in wales with excellent Sunday Dinners. We can confirm that the article was quite correct and this is one of the nicest meals we have enjoyed out. We opted for the 3 course Sunday dinner for £18.95 each and it was top quality food worth every penny. Their homemade tomato and bacon... More

We were a large party of 6 adults & 4 children. Service was excellent as was the food. We had the mackerel to start and various roasts which were freshly cooked, plentiful and tasty. They even brought out extra Yorkshire puddings for those not having the roast beef! Some wonderful desserts too (my son can vouch for the sticky toffee... More

Stumbled upon this pub by accident. It's off the beaten track and in summer would have great views from the garden. Very welcoming, a mix of locals and half term tourists. Stopped in for lunch and was impressed with the food or both quality, choice and quantity.

We have eaten and drunk in here several times and tried several meals on the menu. We have never been disappointed. There is an extensive menu with something for everyone! The choice of beers and ales is good. If you like Art there are some fantastic pieces for sale on the walls. A great place to go after a long... More

We arrived on a very wet autumnal day to find a dark and gloomy pub. However this adds to the ambience and makes it a unique experience. The food was extremely good. The fire wasn't lit for some reason and we would have appreciated a roaring fire.
