This is one of my favourite cafes in Truro - amazing coffee, delicious food (and generous portions!) and a lovely setting. They also have a nice outdoor eating area for summer - but as it's March we stayed inside!

A lovely place for lunch. Good coffee, delicious sandwiches and the other food looked good too. The cafe is part of a really nice and well stocked art shop that also sells lovely 'ethical' children's toys. Will definitely be visiting on our next trip into Truro.

This is an excellent little place to come for lunch, the salads are amazing and have such good variety in them instead of the usual boring salad items. The stuffed jacket potatoes are also really good as to are the sandwiches they offer.

As a regular visitor to Truro I always make a point of visiting this cafe. I had an excellent cheese and chicken toasted sandwich followed by nice coffee with cream. The place was busy and service a bit slow so maybe another hired hand would help but worth the wait.

A great place for lunch with friendly staff, but tables get filled up quickly. We had a lovely selection of fresh salads on a plate. Nice environment also, but be warned the art shop on the ground floor is quite pricey! Check out The Works around the corner first since they sell a lot of art equipment very cheaply.

Caught the bus to Truro from the park and ride for £2 each. Bus stopped in Truro right outside the Arts cafe and needing a coffee we called in. Amazingly interesting place. Couldn't just have a coffee after we had seen a waitress deliver tea cakes to the next table so ordered them too. £6.85. Great value. Plenty of butter... More

We needed a late lunch in Truro and the top rated Bone China café was only doing cakes. They suggested the Arts Cafe and it fitted our needs perfectly. I had delicious homemade fennel and tomato soup with focaccia and my hubby had quiche which came with a homemade coleslaw and great mixed side salad. We didn't have drinks. Everything... More

A friend and I happened to walk past The Arts Café on a trip to Truro, and were struck by all the people coming and going, and we could see lots of people inside, eating. The place was buzzing! We found a table, chose our food and (non-alcoholic) drink from a varied and healthy-looking menu, and placed our orders, which... More
