We had mofongo, Niman Ranch pork belly and fettuccine. All super tasty and well prepared. Kitchen was a little slow but we are on island time...

Really great seafood. The ambience is wonderful. It's on the malecon in Esperanza overlooking the Caribbean. It's quite a heady experience because of the high quality of everything.

Went here with my wife and another couple before we left Vieques to fly home; it did not disappoint. Any seafood dish you get here is amazing, the scallops are fantastic. We had appetizers, dinner and dessert. Between us and our friends we covered fish, shrimp mofongo, scallop dishes and a delicious flan for dessert. All excellent. My wife and... More

We had an amazing dinner here celebrating a few birthdays with friends while on the island. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to entrees to deserts. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. This is not only the best restaurant on the island, but truly one of the best restaurants anywhere! We visit Vieques a few times a year and... More

Might just have been an off night when we attended. While the food was good the service was not. Our waiter was less than attentive and certainly cost the house some revenue. Not once during an hour and a half did he offer a second cocktail or another bottle of wine. He completely forgot to turn in one entree order.... More

This is a great place to have a special dinner. The food is prepared beautifully, and tastes wonderful. Their mofongo is spectacular, made with breadfruit instead of plantains, and is presented elegantly, but everything we had was fantastic. Service was excellent, and price was reasonable. We'll definitely go back there on our next visit to Vieques!

We went for dinner. Which started off well. Drinks were good. Our server was great attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. All the staff was great. We had soup and focaccia to start. That was good. The disappointment started when dinner arrived. Both entrees fell flat. Mahi Mahi was highly recommended by our server. It was, eh. The Monk fish... More

Named after a large tree in front of the restaurant, this is one of the best in town, priced middle range for gourmet food. The atmosphere is artistic and pleasant. We had lobster with rice, plantain and snap peas in sauce and a shrimp and lobster stew in a Mofungo bowl, made of various starches such as yucca and breadfruit.... More

Service was great - can't remember his name- but good, attentive, but left us alone too. The menu was interesting, and the food was good. Portions were good- not too big, and the owner came by at the end to chat- that was nice as well. Nice quiet, comfortable environment. We would go again.

So we were overwhelmed when we were here a year ago but as time passed we thought was it really as good as we remembered. Yes, it was. The front staff are knowledgeable and cheerful but the stars are those making the magic in the kitchen. Inventive combinations of ingredients all well-prepared and presented. We can't wait to return next... More
