Busy pub, unfortunately could only book in for one night but will be back. Staff were extremely friendly and hard working, nothing too much trouble. Good selection of drinks and small authentic pub. Food choice was great and quality was wonderful. Stayed in annex and the room was lovely. The facilities were great from being able to park car and... More

Had a lovely weekend away at The Woolly Sheep Inn with a night accommodation and family meal. Skipton is a very busy place and the Pub Car Park for residence was a welcome relief, the staff were there to assist with token for the barrier and all of our worries were solved. I found the staff very helpful and always... More

We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a table. ( on other occasions we have had to wait ). We had a normal menu, lunch menu and specials board to... More

A nice feel to the pub, with a number of areas for eating and drinking. Food is largely traditional British but with a 'chefy' twist. In our experience the twist doesnt really work. For instance having a fried chicken kiev on a bed of mash. Also things like green beans not being 'top and tailed', sausages been a bit wrinkly... More

A lovely local pub located in the centre of Skipton, a busy market town. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and the restaurant offered a wide range of choice. For real ale lovers the Woolly Sheep offers a good range of Timothy Taylor beers.

This is such a nice wee cosy pub. We visit it every time we go down to skipton when we have a few nights stay...this is our local haha. It is even better in the winter when they have the coal fire on. My husband likes to work his way down the beers on the blackboard. Have not eaten here... More
