Wanted somewhere to go for an evening meal. They were reported to be on the gluten free list. We were not disappointed. I had the pork loin special. Whilst my gluten intolerant partner had the chicken burger with extra salad. The food was nicely presented...More

This pub is shaped and styled around a narrowboat and as such has a fun factor....beyond that it is an OK place to eat but not hugely special in any way...More

Lovely friendly pub with good menu. Staff very efficient. Offered to start a tab when we ordered our first drinks. Saved a bit of time. Food was good. Cocktails excellent too..prices fair.

We had tea here a couple of years ago when visiting Skipton and after a very long wait we were very disappointed with our meals. This time however the food arrived after only a short wait and was really delicious. My Hubbie decided to try...More

Lovely central location for Skipton shops. Went for early evening dinner, didn't book. Very relaxed laid back environment and some really interesting beers. The food was delicious and for the price you pay ample portions. Definitely worth a visit.

We ate here on 2 separate occasions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food better than the usual pub food. The food arrived fairly quickly and was nice and hot. They sell an extensive range of craft beers and lots of different gins....More

Visited on last night of our holiday, wish we'd come sooner. I had a superb cut steak and ale pie, full of tender tasty beef. My wife's burger a little dry and so disappointing. Very friendly staff.

Met the wife in Skipton on a rare afternoon off and tried the narrowboat. Goes without saying a great selection of ales but the food menu doesn't disappoint either, some lovely dishes on the specials board. We opted for a lighter lunch and both went...More

Hello Mary B, we usually have plenty of choice on the regular menu for gluten-free; it is probably worth giving the Narrow Boat a call on 01756-797922 if you plan to go there, as they will give you a better idea of what is... More
