We went for a quick bite to eat a few weeks ago, primarily as we had an even to attend that evening. The time available for the table normally would suit (5pm with a clear instruction they needed the table back for 7pm) but given that we had another commitment it suited on this occassion. Staff friendly and professional, food... More

Visited with my husband for a meal on Sunday evening - we were both very excited and drove a long distance due to this place being recommended. On arrival it was difficult to find a place to park but we did manage to squeeze our car out the back. When we walked in a waitress with long blonde hair walked... More

We had heard this place was AMAZING, we were disappointed. I have never left a restaurant with my kids hungry before (hubby is always hungry) even my 2 year was saying he was hungry. Portion sizes very small especially for the price they charge!! Food was ok, staff were very friendly, decor was dated and not well lite up. I... More

I enjoyed my meal however the restaurant was not as expected. The decor is very dated and we where seated right beside another party it almost felt as though we where dinning together. The menu seems to have a lot of choice however quite a few items where off the menu when we visited, this can be forgiven as it... More

Had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening. Hadn't reserved a table but we were seated immediately. I had a tasty goat's cheese tartlet and friend had roast beef dinner. We shared the apple cake desert served with custard and ice cream. We both enjoyed our meal and service was efficient. I woul, however, prefer to have desert served on... More

We visited here tonight. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. I had informed them that one of our party would be in a wheelchair so when we arrived they had a portable ramp ready and helped us over the small front step and same again as we left. Nice ambience, good food and friendly staff.

Went with great friends and had the most delicious ribeye steak. Overall the staff were attentive and courteous and we had an overall delightful experience with a little surprise for desert. Would highly recommend a visit.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening here! The atmosphere was very relaxed! The food was exceptionally good. . .for all of us! Generous portions, each course served with exceptional service and quality! Great value for money! William's Pink Grapefruit gin with Fever Tree Sicilian lemonade was the bees knees!!! Had a very pleasant meal with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was of a high standard. We ate downstairs and, on first impression, I was a little concerned as the decor is quite dated (circa 1950), however, I need not have been concerned. The food and service made the evening... More
