The Restaurant is set in a fabulous location with beautiful views of the ocean but thats all its got, had lunch there and found that the food was well below par for the great reviews that I read... I'd expect the quality of the food to be above Cafe food but was badly disappointed, as for the staff didn't find... More

We were there on Friday 13th January and had the 3 course for £10.00. It was very nice staff very friendly and welcoming. We have been there before and will be back soon.

No other word than the heading. Food and staff very unprofessional. It's like a cafe with young untrained staff. Do not recommend.

My wife and I visited 55 the week before Christmas with 2 friends. We are so happy with the standard of service , food and ambience at 55 that we always take first time visitors and friends there as we are always pretty much assured of a great evening. This night in particular was well worth the visit. Three of... More

One of the best places to stop along the North Antrim coastline in an absolutely stunning location. Food is fantastic, Service is brilliant and has a lovely personal touch to it (staff just get it),views amazing, value unrivaled in any restaurant I've been to. Where else can 4 adults enjoy a 3 course mean for under £50? OK drinks excluded... More

A cold miserable dull January Saturday afternoon was cheered up by a visit to 55 Degrees North. Chose a seat outside on the warm patio and just watched and listen to the wild waves crash around "The Beach Cafe". Surfers to our right enjoying the massive waves. Well worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our meal here. It was busy enough to create a good atmosphere but not so busy that it was cramped! The views were beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was of a high standard too. You can't beat the location or the standard of this place.

Visited the restaurant on a family dinner date and cannot fault it in anyway. I have read a few poor reviews on here and cannot believe these people were in the same place. When we arrived the restaurant was really busy with a half hour wait for a table - we didnt mind this and ordered drinks at the bar... More

Didn't have too long a wait to be seated. Staff were very friendly and attentive and service was fast. Food was delicious(I had goats cheese risitto) and good value... More
