This is a lovely place next to a popular hotel. It got very busy very quickly so that was a good sign. If you love excellent cakes then this is the place to go.

Leona’s is a lovely tea room with a very good lunch menu and always has a good variety of home made scones and soups. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there’s a basket of toys for the kids

Afternoon tea if that is what you could call it was awful. £12.50 for sub standard sandwiches and tray bakes and cheap coffee. Definitely wont be back.

Heard great reports about this place. Wasn't disappointed. Vast array of cakes, desserts, tray bakes and scones. We had apple pie and lemon meringue - scrumptious and good cappuccinos. Don't be put off by unkempt car park and drab exterior of hotel. Definitely be back
