We were on our way to the ferry and stopped at Noya for dinner. It's a narrow restaurant but goes back a long way and the part at the front was rather cold at 6pm on a December evening but the staff moved us into...the main part of the restaurant which was much warmer. The Mediterranean-style food was very good. I understand it is family-owned and run and it shows. Highly recommended.More

My first visit to Wirral and Noya due to a last minute work emergency. Mid November when it’s windy and cold outside… Warm, friendly and ever so welcoming inside. The staff were brilliant and found a table for one without any qualms. . The service...was charming and diligent, food bursting with flavour and texture. Loved it. 100% loved it. Small independent restaurants are always my favourite, Noya is at the top of that list. Well done guys, can’t wait to see you againMore

A great first visit for my wife's birthday. Order was taken quickly and drinks arrived with speed as well. Starters came 45mins later and the rest of the meal followed in a timely manner. Staff were friendly and attentive but not pestering like in some...places. Will we go again........Definitely Would I recommend it.......YesMore

2 hours for delivery, after being told it would be a lengthy hour. It arrived overcooked, cold and greasy. I was astonished with the poor quality of the cookery. The restaurant manager wanted the food back before she would issue a refund. Having read on...here how complaints get dealt with I can’t wait for Holly’s reply. I’ve included a shot of the £4 ‘gourmet’ chips, about the best things out of our £60 experience. Now to get my money back, wish me luck.More

Waited over 2 hours for a 60 minute delivery for a £60 order. Food arrived stone cold, overcooked and greasy, without the whole order being fulfilled. Restaurant tried to fob us off using the delivery service as the excuse. Appalling customer service with no apologies...offered, Instead they blamed the intermediary third party delivery company and were unable to contact the delivery driver as they did not have their number. The food was so disgusting and spoiled that we ended up having to throw it away. The restaurant then proceeded to contact us on three separate occasions asking us to return the food for the chef to examine but clearly stating that no refund would be offered Absolutely disgusting food and atrocious and insulting customer service. Pictures speak for themselves - £6 for 3 pieces of burnt calamari, £8 for 2 portions of ‘gourmet’ chips and the other unrecognisable, burnt offering is apparently speciality sausage. Please avoid at all costs!!More

We had ordered a couple of takeaways from here in the past and as one of my daughter's favourites we thought we would give the restaurant a try when looking for somewhere to celebrate her exam results. The food was lovely and did not disappoint...and service was friendly and helpful.More

We have been here several times and always good. However, last nights food was terrible. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The kofta had too much gristle on the house mix. Now the fish - omg, it was terrible. My wife did mention this, and...to be fair, the waitress did offer something else on the menu, but why would you want to eat alone. The fish was so overcooked it was like a piece of leather - it was disgusting. What made it worst is they only knocked halt the amount off. Anyway won't be going back as there are better options in Moreton and Birkenhead if this is the food you like.More

First, the positive. The young lady who served us was very good (hence the 1 star) but the food was worse than appalling. It takes some skills to mess up a prawn cocktail but "chef" managed this admirably. The prawns were the smallest shrimps known...to man and served without any source at all. For mains, the cod was as dry as a witch's do-da and more rubbery than Dunlop's best tyres. Did "chef" think it acceptable to send this nonsense out of the kitchen. Well, at least we tried it.More
