We had breakfast with our two grandchildren. We where given a priced menu and saw there was no price for children. As both children require gluten free food we asked that their bread and sausages on the breakfast be substituted. We where prepared to pay the adult price but didn't expect the children's to cost more. Also I felt we... More

Was taken here for lunch a couple of weeks ago and the food was superb, I had the roast of the day which was pork and it was delicious, and fresh veg accompanied it, the deserts looked lovely but unfortunately I had no room for them, would definitely return

A group of 37 of us travelled to ballydougan pottery and Resturant, we were met and greeted and felt very welcome, tea coffee and biscuits on arrival, we then were given a demonstration of the pottery, and an insight into the working pottery, the guide was very good and full of knowledge, lunch was excellent followed by a visit around... We have stayed in cottages a number of times and unfortunately what was once seen as charming is now just neglect. The bathroom was not clean and the bath was not sealed properly so there was a lot of mould. The bed sheets were not clean, neither were the dishes. The properties all lack natural light, and the artificial light... More

This is a popular place. Probably more because its a place to be seen than anything else. It does your social status sone good in certain sections of local society to be seen here. Make sure your car is clean etc etc Food is ok. Really is nothing special either in quality or quantity. Service is good, but dont expect... More

From the moment you enter the building you could not help being impressed by the ambeiance of the surroundings with items for sale to suit every taste. In December '16 I had lunch with family members. The layout of the. Restaurant area was very tastefully executed and this was backed home by the very efficient serving staff. Our orders were... Walking distance from home, so stop regularly for a coffee, scone or some lunch. Never been disappointed. Friendly staff and Sean the owner always has the craic. Roaring fire, lovely ambience, beautiful authentic buildings. .

I was amongst 50 or so adults having a pre-Christmas dinner. Attention from all staff from our entrance to exit was excellent. Professional, friendly and efficient waitresses provided each of our four courses consecutively. Individual requests were met effectively and the food was attractively presented - and tasty. Staff quietly facilitated our carol singing - and the owner actually joined... More
