we enjoyed a light lunch with friends. There is an extensive choice of menu and it is very good value. Might be an idea to book in the busy times. Good choice of sandwiches, salads and cooked meals as well as teatime choices. Service is quick and friendly

As frequent visitors to the farm shop and restaurant we decided to try it for breakfast for a change. Service was a bit slow but we were not in a hurry. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite and actually made us smile. The restaurant is functional with plenty of covers but book early for lunch as... More

We ordered what I thought was an overpriced full breakfast. My Mum had visited before and said the food was very good, so I trusted her. When the breakfast arrived it was delicious. Lovely quality ingredients, not greasy, and very tasty. The toast was thick bread with real butter, and quality marmalade. The pot of tea for two held plenty... More

Nice place to sit and pass a while in. Visited today for drink and toast. Sadly served by Christine who possibly was having a bad day. No interaction with pleasant customers and was brusque and quite rude. We only order toast 1 with extra butter and drinks. I ordered marmalade and at the end my companion asked for extra butter... We have been coming to Hillers cafe since by eldest daughter was born. We nearly always visit with my Aunt and Uncle. We tend to book a table either on a Friday or Saturday and have always had fantastic service along with delicious food.

The highly acclaimed Garden Restaurant is perfect for relaxing after shopping. Sink into soft leather sofas with a coffee and the newspapers, or lunch alfresco on the garden terrace and enjoy glass of wine with friends. Serving delicious home-made meals cooked from fresh local produce ensures that lunch times are always a hubbub of activity, so table bookings are strongly recommended at these busy times. Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and light refreshments throughout the day. Everything is freshly prepared by the chef and his team, using produce from the Farm Shop and Fish Shop. We open all day and the chef regularly changes the specials board.
