Very rude gentleman who runs this place - strange he is in customer service?! He didn't accept pets when we asked and made us feel really uncomfortable for asking! I don't know why he just didn't put a sign on door saying no dogs, then...More

My sisters and I bought lunch here today. The building and garden are beautiful and the waiter was so attentive and really sweet. We ordered soup and lasagna and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We finished with cake and tea which were also lovely....More

Coffee shop that only serves filter coffees. Earl Grey was weak and lemonade from a large bottle was flat. Leak and potato soup tasteless but served nicely hot. Screen saver in the fireplace is odd and the lighting Heath Robinson. A trip to the bathroom...More

Friendly, efficient service from man dressed in 16th century breeches and shirt. He took our order using a quill pen. The building is old and delapidated. Toilet would not flush immediately after the person before me.

We settled ourselves in for tea and cake after a very long walk. It was difficult to find a table to accommodate five adults but we squeezed on to a table by the window. The room was dingy, the cloth was dirty but it was...More

called in after a walk and it is a quirky place and 5 booths and seating outside if weather permits - choice is simple and makes a change - saves on too much choice and things running out at the end of the day -...More

Found this lovely little coffee house purely by chance. Friendly welcome on entering into what seemed like someone's private home. Sat in the last available comfy little booth; there are 5 in total with seating outside if weather permits. I had a cup of coffee...More
