On the way to Bakewell from Sheffield ideal stop off for lunch. Lovely feel to the pub with an open fire and cheerful bar staff. The food menu is quite extensive and whilst at the top end of pricing for pub grub the quality cannot...More

Thank you for taking time to review us we're glad you enjoyed your visit. We're not sure how Venison, Partridge, Rabbit & Pheasant can be called "pub grub" we feel such traditional British cuisine deserves a better title. We're proud of our range of local...More

Nice traditional pub with good real ales and a menu featuring lots of local produce. Staff were friendly and accomodating with my wife's allergies, and the home-made rabbit pie is recommended. Worth a visit if you're near Bakewell.

Thank you very much some of our produce is even home grown swell as local. Everything is made to order so allergies are not a problem for us to help with.

Excellent service, with a small but interesting menu. A large part of the menu was homemade and used local produce. Very friendly and clean.
