Had a lovely meal here today on our walk to Bakewell. I can recommend the minced beef hot pot. Very fast service too. I have knocked a star off as I think the toilets urgently need an upgrade. One ladies toilet, one gents and one disabled. Apparently only one urinal in the gents and one sink, no loo. Very inadequate... More

Stopped for refreshments whilst cycling the Monsal Trail. Bought a slice of flapjack and a carton of orange juice, marked down slightly as thought these were a bit on the pricey side for what they were. Lovely location and plenty of seating inside and out.

The cafe never fails to please. A cheeseburger ordered with salad, instead of the usual fries, arrived promptly and with a plateful of delicious various salads. Staff are friendly and obliging.

My first visit here and just loved the place. Ideal for dog walkers and the friendly staff went out of their way to help my friend with his dietary requirements. Nice covered area for me & my four legged friends. No hesitation in coming back again.

We visited on a sunny Monday lunchtime. The car park was full, but not everyone was in the cafe. The cafe does offer free parking immediately outside the cafe frontage. The remainder of the car park is a pay and display for users of the cycle route and walking. The cafe was busy but service was good. The staff are... More

My family were staying very close to the Hassop Station Café during our long-awaited holiday to the Peak District last September. One of the highlights of this week-long stay was to have this amazing service so close by. My family of 4 hired bicycles for the day and we had an absolute BLAST riding along the trial to Bakewell and... More

Lovely walk in mixed weather conditions with dog. Came to cafe and had great cup of tea and bakewell pudding with dog by our side tied to a handy ring in a large outdoor covered area.

Called here for lunch after looking at the menu on their website. Very impressed with the variety available, whether you want a full English, light lunch, snack or just coffee and cake, it's all there, something for everyone. Not just your average cafe grub, they obviously employ a "proper " chef! Decent portion sizes too. It was packed when we... More
