The presentation & quality of the produce is wonderful but I just can't come to terms with the prices. 50-100% more than you will pay in a good quality supermarket. I suppose they are successful due to wealthy locals and the snobbery value of purchasing from there. It is well set out & a pleasant shopping experience - until you... More

Fall upon this tea place if youre trying part or all of the Derwent Valley Way. Good hot lunches, afternoon teas, cakes or sandwiches to go. Eat in or outside.

Really enjoyed having breakfast here today. They don't take bookings but we were lucky enough to get a table by the window and watch the lambs skipping and jumping in the field! Breakfast isn't cheap £8.50 for a full English, but it was delicious and included a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. As we always call in at the... More

Having been offered a 10% discount voucher on entry to Chatsworth House earlier in the day we thought it would be rude not visit their farm shop on the way home. Built in a former stable block this shop is a cornucopia of comestible delights! The range of food items on offer could seriously damage your waist-line! A wide range... More

Had good sized pot of tea for 2 which gave 4 cups each and caramel slice. Not the cheapest but I guess you are paying for the views over rolling hills. Staff courteous . No complaints.
