We visited here for breakfast before a long walk. The food was lovely my other half commented on amazing the toast was! Decent prices but service slow and could do with more coffee selection i.e. Latte rather than instant coffee.

Called here on a Friday afternoon after a couple of hours in Bakewell. I had the steak pie dinner, my wife the homity pie dinner, and tea for two. The grub was wonderful as always, the homemade pies are to die for! See my photos. One thing worth mentioning about the tea here - not a teabag in sight, just... More

Came for the recommended Lamb and Mint pie, which more than delivered on the taste front and in a hearty, generous portion. BUT, it was the Chocolate Caramel Brownie Torte (with ice cream) that my son and I will be looking forward to trying again on any occasion passing Bakewell! We were also assured by its baker that it also... More

It must have been the coldest day of the year when we called here. A hot brew and toastie warned us up temporarily at least.

We have tried a few places over the past year when we visit but this one we went to today is by far the best. Didnt even know the place... More

Stopped here for breakfast on the way to Chatsworth House where we were booked in for afternoon tea after a tour of the house in its traditional Christmas manifestation. So, with no time for lunch, we needed a substantial breakfast. Wye's Waters did us proud. Despite a printed menu the cafe was very flexible about what we could include in... More

We were pleased to find this pleasant, friendly cafe open on Boxing Day. It was packed but we found a free table. We ordered hot chocolate, which arrived in fair time, and a fruit scone and a cherry Bakewell slice (both large), which took a while longer after prompting. However, apologies were made and we would revisit.

Visted this tea room for some lunch, have to say the food was of exceptional quality real home made food and the portion sizes were also very plentiful for the price we paid. Also have to say that Kevin and Donna the proprietors were very friendly and welcoming too, as whilst we were there they had some customers enter who... More
