Decent enough choice of cheeses and salami, unfortunately the staff were cold and unfriendly, verging on rude. Staying in Bakewell for the week we didn’t visit again and gave other similar shops our business instead. I wouldn’t have thought in a small place like Bakewell...More

Popped in here recently for a sandwich to take away. Was made to order, very fresh and at a very reasonable price. Had a billionaire slice as well which I must say was one of the best I have ever had. Will definitely go again...More

We were there for five days and I bought a Bakewell Slice four days in a row. Left too early on day five :-(.

The best coffee in Bakewell (it might be the cheapest) but my goodness it's the worst I had in a while. It watered the plants round the corner.

So sorry to hear that. We source fine Italian coffee beans that are freshly ground and have lots of regulars who love our coffees. Please pop in for another free coffee on us.

Lovely deli with unusual food. The cheese they sell is gorgeous and you can buy bread and coffee and local produce.

I love this little deli - very friendly and welcoming and the various unusual cheeses, pate, salads and sandwiches along with jars of pickles, jams and Cornish blue pottery and baskets - and allsorts of lovely things make every trip to Bakewell a pleasure.

Sorry you feel that we are expensive Mary. We do not extort our customers...running a boutique deli is hard these days with high costs for quality goods. It is simply impossible to compete with prices at mass market supermarkets as they operate at mega scale...More

Located in the market town of Bakewell right in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District, we bake and sell wholesome, fresh food as well as selling a range of gifts, hampers, cheeses and of course the infamous Bakewell pudding and Bakewell tart. We like to think our Bakewell tarts are more authentic than what you find in the supermarkets...but we'll let you be the judge!
