After a lovely walk from the Chatsworth estate, we called in for hot drinks and a slice of delight for my daughter. Very nice cappuccino (best I had all week and we tried lots of cafes in the area) and a friendly team running the place. Will definitely return again when in the area. Keep up the good work.

Nice quaint cafe first time visitors. It is at the bottom of Beeley moor. There is a good choice of food all of which looks tasty, we've plumped for a cheese scone with cream cheese and chutney which are very light and nice need a little more of a cheese kick for my taste but I would have again. There... More

I visited on Wednesday for a meal with family and really enjoyed it. The menu had a great choice, we had a vegetarian in the group but they still had many options. There was also a wide range of different sized meals for differing appetites. We found the waitresses both to be very friendly and attentive. The food was all... More

We went here for a pre-booked lunch and it was lovely and great value for money. I had a salad which was very fresh. The soup also looked lovely. The desserts were great value, I had chocolate dipped flapjack at less than £2 and had to bring half of it home for my son as it was so big!

Wow, what a lovely hidden gem. The waitress and waiter that served us couldn't do enough for us- even providing colouring and pens for our 2 kids. The food was cooked to perfection (try the sweet potato chips-AMAZING) later on in our visit the chef came out to see if everything was ok for us. The facility's are great too... More

It's two hours from my home to here, given the Friday morning traffic and the "smart motorway road works". This is a peaceful cafe, away from the hubbub and noise of the more larger towns in the locality. Two breakfasts, followed by copious quantities of tea - what more can you ask for. No problems with staff, hot food on... More

Popped in for some lunch with my family after walking our dog around the village. The staff were very welcoming and chatty, I went for the brie & cranberry sandwich which was gorgeous, and some cake to finish. Lovely local and dog friendly place!

Having planned a long walk around this beautiful area we were really looking forward to picking up a sandwich at the halfway point to continue our adventure. Website with smiley owners showed blackboard saying 4pm close. When we arrived at 3.30pm we thought there would be no problem grabbing a simple sandwich to take away as the website stated. Apparently... More

Dear customer, I'm really sorry about this. It should have been explained to you when you arrived that although we close at 4pm we stop sandwiches and hot food at 3pm so that's why the chef had cleared down etc, it was half an hour after we usually stop and everything was put away and cleaned down. We offer scones... More
