Came down Friday lunchtime. No sign of life. Maybe it's out of season but the website seems to be down and there were no sign indicating opening hours. The shack itself looked as if there had been no food activity in a long while. Pity.

We came down here on a warm afternoon just before Easter just before Easter hoping for a lovely snack and the place was shut up with no sign of life. Couldn't see a sign with opening hours or anyone to speak to although there were...More

Met an old girlfriend in slash and wanted a discreet spot to rake over and rekindle memories. Buddy Shack perfect and relaxed fun with good home made lunches.

Hi creasedup! Glad you visited our little cafe, and delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit! We look forward to seeing you again, and remember that Mondays and Thursdays are pasty heaven at the Cuddy Shack! Brian

Exceptional. Very other. Verging on the bizarre but actually homely and tasty. Almost beyond description. I agree with the other comments. If we are in this area, we will come back. Really liked it without being able to explain the formula or undoubted magnetism. Entirely...More

Hi Jannerbloke, Thanks for the great review, and we look forward to seeing you again down at the cafe... we've got a few plans for the winter - nothing hectic, but we might put a little wood burner in so people can enjoy a stew...More

Only been the once. Very out of the way but a couple of good cups of tea and deli sandwiches. Friendly lady behind the counter and an older gentleman who either had a boat or worked in the yard.

You won't find it unless you know it's there and are determined to find it. Best to look briefly at the website. It is literally a shack to the side of the notional entrance to this isolated and very out of the way boat yard...More
