I settled at Foleys for early dinner, on my first night in Kenmare. A good choice, I had a Murphy's Irish stout (which is better than Guiness), and a pretty good plate of fish and chips. All considered, it was good "pub food".

Myself and my hubby stopped here for lunch while on our honeymoon in kenmare, the bar was quiet as it was mid week but the open fire was lightning and the waiter was very pleasant and it was all table service, we shared 2 starters and had a drink, i was really impressed with the pints priced at only €4.80.... We stayed in Kenmare a couple of weeks ago and had two meals over the week in this restaurant. The food isn't the cheapest, but it was really good quality and excellent service, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

If you want to be amazed by the looks and taste of a dinner, order the prawn appetizer. More than enough for me with giant, tender prawns in a creamy sauce. My husband had the lamb and vegetables which were equally good but not quite as spectacular to look at. This was a meal to remember. Very nice quiet atmosphere... More

We called in via an attractive board promising sea food chowder with mussels, salmon and cod. The barman was very welcoming and we sat by the fire to a Guinness and chowder. The chowder needed a marine biologist with a microscope to find any evidence of fish-absolutely dreadful! To sum this place up its a large bar fronted by a really... More

Foley's is a great place to relax and enjoy some great food, Guinness or whatever else you like to drink. The music is always enjoyable especially when Pat Kelleher is there. We have been there many time over the years, and it never disapoints.

We were directed to Foley's as a good place for dinner by our B&B host, and it was an excellent recommendation. The place is large, with plenty of seating and a huge bar area. The service & food were both above reproach. The restrooms were clean, and they even have T-Shirts for sale. There are many places to dine in... More
