I booked this restaurant 9 months ago on the strength of other reviews and I certainly was not disappointed. It was my wife's birthday and not only did they remember but we had a great table, free glass of bubbly and a vocal desert ! As with other reveiws, if turbot is on the menu, order it and I can... Quaint , water view restaurant in Downtown Dingle. Excellent food and service. Reservations are recommended but we did not have any and it made no difference since we wanted to sit outside. Only fresh fish served...no chips. Higher end .Excellent!!

We had a delicious meal with incredibly fresh fish cooked to perfection . Very casual setting and friendly helpful staff made it a very pleasant evening. The John Dory was just lovely.

Excellent seafood restaurant, one which we return to year after year. Is pricier than others but great for that speacial treat. No meat or chips so don't book unless all in your party like fish.

We ate here in early August, very nice dishes chosen from the fish deal menu which ends at 18:30. The starters seemed better than the mains, while the mains were delicious the same veg was served with both. I feel that is a bit of let down. The staff were pleasant and knew the details of the menu and wine... More

We love this place and have 6 times now. It's always buzzing and booking is essential. If you love fish then you gotta go. Brilliant food, great staff and a good selection of wines. A must visit!!!

Occasionally you come across a small restaurant that knows what it's all about. This place reminds us of ones we've been to in the Scottish Islands that serve fresh fish straight off the boats &…if it ain't caught it ain't on the menu. Welcome to OOTB a fabulous little restaurant that you'll need to book in advance. Service is great... More

I recently dined at Out-of-the-blue with 8 adult family members. The ambience was welcoming and quite informal yet the quality and presentation of the food and wines available was of a very high standard. Coupled with efficient and professional service and decent portion sizes it provided an ideal platform for a most enjoyable and memorable occasion comfortably within budget expectations. It... More

Delicious dinner, fresh fish and very delicious chowder too. We walked in this restaurant not having reservations. We had just driven to Dingle from a very tense drive through the Killarney National Park. We checked into our place and asked where a good place was to grab dinner. They recommended this place and we walked over there. They were very... More

The food in Dingle is all quite good, but Out of the Blue brings it to a whole new level. They also could modify the entire menu to be gluten free. It does not look like much from the street but quite nice in the dining room.
