Read the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to have lunch at the Malt House. Reviews were spot on. Good food but poor service. It was not that busy but it took a long time to get our food. Questions about menus items were met with " I don't know". Not a game breaker but not a good indicator.

Really friendy staff, food was lovely and just a nice vibe throughout. A tall dark haired lady (think it was alice) came over to our table and explained she had kids/babys of her own and made a great fuss our little 14 month old. She then realised we still had drinks to finish after our meal so kindly took our... More

After the tour my Cousin, Mairead, took me to the cafe. I had the seafood chowder and it was lovely and very filling. I would recommend this to all visitors.

Best fish and chips I had the entire two weeks we were in Ireland. Both of my family members really enjoyed their meals as well.

My Daughter and I went for lunch to the Malt house recently. It was very busy but we got seated fairly quickly. The staff were nice and friendly. We both had the stew and it was delicious. We did the tour afterwards and it was very interesting.

Had lunch here mid week with my parents and my 8 month old. Was very busy, but we were quickly sorted with a table. Great service throughout, staff so lovely, friendly & efficient. Fantastic atmosphere. Food was lovely. I had the monkfish salad. It was tasty, although for the price I had expected a lot more monkfish to be honest.... More

We ate here after our distillery tour. It was Sunday and we weren't sure if anything else would be open once we left. Unfortunately for us, the restaurant was having an off day. The staff was visibly overwhelmed. My soup came before my drink, and both of the dished I ordered were sold out. I ended up eating french fries... More

We ate here prior to our Jameson tour. The service was nice and the food was good enough, though maybe a tad pricey for what you get. I had the pork sandwhich and my husband had the stew, both were generous portion sizes and good enough flavor. A nice option if you want to make an afternoon out of the... More
