My wife and I dropped in to Fishy Fishy and had a good fish meal but not great. The service was pleasant and personable and the wine list satisfying with a couple of good tasters. We both had the Hake which was good but not great. Nothing was below average .This was a pleasant experience on a cold night with... More

Excellent menu to choose from, food was very good and staff were very attentive. Very busy so would suggest booking for a Sunday visit. I had the hake, which I loved.

This place is way overhyped, we were so disappointed. Do not waste your money here as the food quality was about the same as standard banquet fare, and the service was poor. It felt like they were in the business of turning and burning tables and had no care or connection to their food or their customers. We complained about... More

We heard about Fishy Fishy before our trip to Ireland, and had seen a video of the owner, Martin. That alone was enough to tell us that we had to make a stop here. It is, in fact, the main reason that we spent the day in the Kinsale area. The restaurant itself appears as a typical seaside town kind... More

Any visit to Kinsale cannot be considered done unless you visit Fishy Fishy. I'm not a big fish eater but on my visits to Kinsale Fishy Fishy has to be done. Staff are great, sang happy birthday to my daughter and the whole restaurant joined in, it made her day. Oh and the food, it never disappoints but leave some... More

Had and excellent meal in Fishy Fishy. High end food, without the pretentiousness. Bright and airy dining room. Had starters and mains, both of which were delicious and of wonderful quality. Locally sourced produce and great pride taken in their locality via produce and art pieces in the restaurant. Great meal all round, and good value for the high quality... More
