Drove 40 minutes to get to this restaurant and was very disappointed overall. Lovely from the outside but somewhat unprofessional inside although the food was ok. I gave food 4/10 my partner gave it 6/10 (based on a nicely cooked steak). Inside - first impressions were poor generally and while waiting in the little sitting room it was hard not... More

This was my second time to visit this top class restaurant, I have recommended it to many others and they have not been disappointed. My one complaint is the tatty ripped napkin that was on my plate. It was clean but looked as if it had been chewed by a dog.i was given a replacement straight away, however if I... More

Had thought we had booked the Early-Bird meal, but upon arrival at 7.30 pm. was told we were 30 minutes late, so had to stay with the Dinner Menu. 2 courses for €30.00 or 3 courses for €37.00. We decided to opt for the 2-course meal, with a starter and dessert being shared. This was a really excellent idea, as... More

This lovely little restaurant in the heart of Adare village is like steeping back in time to have your dinner. The tiny little house is frozen in time. Food was of and very high standard and we enjoyed every course. Well worth a visit.

We visited The Wild Geese last Friday evening for our work Xmas Party Dinner. There is only one word to describe this place - WOW! From start to finish our experience was flawless... There were 24 in our group and we had the ground floor restaurant to ourselves. The atmosphere is warm, cosy & inviting. Julie the manager welcomed us... More

My friend and I stayed across the street from Wild Geese and had a lovely dinner. Had we not been to 1826 the night before, we would probably would have enjoyed it even more ... but if you can only go to one 1826 gets my vote. Wild Geese is quirky; you ring the bell to get in, are ushered... More

This is brief but really nice. If you don't like small rooms maybe it's not for you. It's like a tiny house. Food excellent. In the middle of Adare village. Bar was like grans front room only in Ireland. Food is too quite a high standard.

unusually styled restaurant, the cottage rooms act as small dining rooms that creates a lovely dining experience. the attention of staff was excellent and the food fantastic. There is a separate vegetarian menu which is a lovely touch from the usual options left to the end of the main menu. the vegetarian options were excellent and wide ranging. only letdown... More

The Wild Geese has been on my bucket list for a long time and having finally made it there it lived up to my expectations and more! The food was inventively put together and beautifully cooked. Fresh local ingredients handled with the greatest of care, delicious fish and seasonal meats, yummy wine and all served with a classy warmth. We... More

I had the pleasure of dining in Wild Geese again but this time it was slightly different as it was Dining in the Dark for the National Council for the blind. When we arrived we were met by the ever charming Julie and had a drink by the fire, we were then taken to our table and we were blindfolded.... More
