Visited this pub with my partner and my mum after a mid-morning walk for lunch, as the seafood chowder had been recommended to us. The pub itself is quite dark but cosy, although the tables are very low to eat from and it can be a little cramped, but I was still feeling comfortable. The waitress came quickly enough after... Probably my favourite place for food in Glenbeigh and the atmosphere is great with the locals mingling with the tourists. Recently had a roast dinner there which was lovely. To make this 5 stars I think the quantity of the meat should be more as 2 slices of beef wasnt enough to fill me (and im not huge!) plus I... More

A lovely roaring fire in the hearth makes this a very inviting pub. They do food also, which I haven't tried myself but have heard is good. Nice spot after a walk on Rossbeigh beach.

After a stroll on Rosbeigh beach we stopped here to have some lunch. Extensive specials menu but we opted for their recommended Fish and Chips. Just perfect!! Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff

Stayted here with a group of friends. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and were very obliging (even saying breakfast was at whatever time we got up - not till 10am etc!!) Rooms are nicely decorated in an olde world setting in a the beautiful village of Glenbeigh. I would highly recommend a stay here!!

We were very grateful to find the pub open around 230 on a Sunday as many nearby places were closed. We ordered the roast beef lunch special and the fish and chips. The roast beef, gravy and Yorkshire pudding were delicious. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were not as good. They lacked salt, butter or any seasoning. The fish and... More

You can be assured of a great feed here after a day at the beach or on the hills. The pub offers the perfect tonic. Sit or lounge in confortsble and cosy surroundings.

We had 2 fantastic nights at this pub over New Years. Great food. Traditional Music. And welcoming staff. Wonderful Kerry characters all around us. Like stepping back in time. Don't ever change.
