Our friends raved about these brownies. When we tried them for ourselves, I realized they hadn't exaggerated at all. The Truffle Fairy confections are definitely worth taking a detour for. And Thomastown is a beautiful little town for a stroll.

Mary (aka the truffle fairy) makes the best brownie I've ever tasted. I also purchased a variety of truffles while there...all were delicious.

Feel the need for some real chocolate then this is the place to satisfy your taste buds. Not a huge range of chocolates on display but the ones we tried were delightful

I love this place. This place is about the chocolate and the coffee which are exceptional for a rather nice area in the middle of nowhere. My references would be Neuhaus and whereas there selection isn't as big the chocolates are devine. Moreover, last week I had one of the best coffees I've ever had there... and as for the... More

We wandered into this place for a look and we couldn't leave without trying some of the delicious handmade chocolates and fudges. We got a mixed box to take with us and they were absolutely delicious. The lady who served us was extremely friendly and chatty. She was very helpful and explained the chocolate making process to us as we... More

Love the chocolates and the range of gluten free products. On seeing the photos of the chocolates, 3 of my husbands colleagues decided to order a box! The cafe is also a lovely place to enjoy a good coffee.

I'm from kilkenny myself and wanted to show the best bits to my non-kilkenny friend. His highlight of the entire weekend was our visit to the truffle Fairy. They have an extensive drinks menu (my favourite the aztec hot chocolate) and amazing choice of confectioneries. We had a relaxing and very filling visit. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
