Arrived in Glengarriff after a full days drive from Dingle via The Great Atlantic Way to stay in this village for the night. Good friendly Irish bar which serves a good pint of Smithwicks so thoroughly... More

I really enjoyed McCarthy's. The staff were very pleasant and looked after our dog with some water. The food was excellent. Really enjoyed the Chargrilled Chicken Salad and Fish Chowder. Lovely to sit outside and eat.

Really nice local Pub, good ambiance, clean and well stocked. If you are a visitor to these parts, try a pint of Murphys Stout, a much superior stout brewed in Cork and a real alternative to Irelands National beverage! A blazing coal fire gives warmth and cheeriness to the premises. The locals are friendly and chatty if you want to... More

One of those places where you are welcomed as a friend, even though it's your first visit.Although not many places in Eire serve real ale the pint was decent.

Stayed in the Glengarriff Park Hotel next door. After a couple of long days it was nice each night to pop next door with no effort for a drink by the open fire before heading up to the room. It's a great advantage being able to walk from the hotel to the pub without going outside.

We had a lovely evening meal here a good choice of food reasonably priced. There is a thai influence in the cooking.
