As usual the food was fabulous..bit of a wait for the food but that's to be expected when not booking in advance. Good value set menu midweek and service was great.

Had my son's christening. Perfect setting for a large family, we had a private room. The food was hearty, huge portions. The staff were lovely.

We went on a thursday or Friday night I can't remember which it was pretty quiet but we were seated by the kitchen door when there was plenty of room elsewhere in the restaurant. The food was absolutely awful, there are no other words, I can't even remember what I had bar the pear started and it tasted like it... More

This is my most favourite place to eat on the rare occasions I am in Dundalk. It's clean, friendly and welcoming and the upstairs restaurant part is cavernous with lots of little nooks and crannies and an open fire for those chilly nights. I find it very difficult to order anything other than the rabbit which is simply delicious but... More

Got a gift voucher from the kids for Christmas, always thought this place was expensive so avoided it but boy were we wrong. Excellent food, excellent value and very well presented. The bar itself has loads of little snugs and gives a bit of privacy, staff are very friendly and helpful.

There is one major positive about the Windsor in that they always have great steaks! However you might not get the pleasure in tasting, because of their ridiculous non booking system! I can fully understand no need to book an evening table during the week, but when it's the weekend, it is a must! I came over from the UK... More

This is a popular eating place with a traditional menu. A La Carte dinner in the evening can average between 40 -50 in total with set menu at around 25 euro. I and my fellow guests opted for A La Carte. I had Prawns in Garlic for first course and pan fried cod for second. All the fish was overcooked.... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Dundalk. Their steaks are fantastic. I've never had a bad meal here and have pub lunches there as much as I can and go to the restaurant for special occasions.
