- little or no egg in our 'egg tortilla' Staff/loggers/travelers/helpers with no English, no initiative. Sitting at a dirty table with them standing around. Owner not approachable No atmosphere, background music No wifi (in this day and age) + The outside is a lovely purple Nice artwork inside

Perfect for a quick bite ,could do with a good clean, especially the loo floor! The food we were served was delicious. The owner appeared somewhat distracted- mobile phone ,new staff being trained doing their best. A quirky sort of place .

Found this place quite by accident when passing through Rathmullan. The food was of an exceptionally high quality. If we'd been served this in a five star restaurant, we would have been very happy. The menu was vegetarian (not sure about vegan - could have been) and I'll be making my way back. Easily the best place I've eaten since... More

This is a a very arty colourful cafe with many stories behind the eclectic collection of drawings and art work. Chatting to the lady owner, we discovered it was an originally a Methodist place of worship. The apple crumble was delicious and the teas and coffees were lovely. A quirky little place with a difference, worth a stop.

Quite average food. The manager is not friendly at all. I'd recommend Belle's kitchen in the main street of Rathmullan instead.

My friends and I travelled through Rathmullan on our Irish road trip and were delighted to find this colourful café to break the monotony of Pub Food and industrial baked goods. The friendly chatty owner introduced us to some healthy salads, home made potato cakes and some sinfully delicious sweet treats: I had a non-bake chocolate biscotti cake that will... More

We had a evening meal at An Stad on the last night of our stay in Rathmullan. Why oh why had we not went earlier on in the week!! The food was amazing and so healthy . It was freshly made while we sat enjoying our BYO wine out of the most exquisite glasses I have ever seen. The decor... More

This is the best place for food in a 50km radius at least... Unlike other restaurants in Donegal, this place serves truly fresh and healthy food that lasts you for the day... You are not stuck with chips or industrially processed food. Good breakfast to start the day feeling healthy... All the food is made by the owner! Nothing is... More
