We were passing through Ballyvaughan and stopped at these tea rooms for tea, coffee and cake. The building and gardens are stunning and the interior is very bright and inviting. Staff were pleasant and helpful. However we were shocked at how expensive the bill was; a tea, coffee and two slices of cake amounted to €17.10. A slice of cake... More

I've eaten here on a number of occasions, most recently in May 2017 for lunch. The prices aren't cheap, but you are paying for good fresh food which is all home-made. Highlight of the place is the cake and desserts (which are displayed on a wooden table when you enter the restaurant). I quite like the old-fashioned charm of the... More

Beautiful place with lovely gardens. We ordered a coffee, a tea and a piece of fruit cake. The resulting offering was seriously poor, coffee (disgusting) in a paper cup, tea in a paper cup and a dry old piece of cake on a paper plate covered with cling film. Cost €11.50 we would not return.

I have visited these Tea Rooms about 5 times over the last 15 years. I was there on Saturday the 7th May and received great service. The young man was very pleasant and I got my scone and tea without any lengthy wait. I decided to return with my husband the following day Sunday for a late lunch. The Tea... More

Lovely lunch. Fresh home made soup, bread and cakes. Sat in the conservatory and it was warm, comfortable and relaxed. Definitely recommend.

Had a gorgeous lunch here last Friday with my Mam, have been here few times before but not for a couple of years.. The apple and cinnamon cake was to DIE for and the cook/chef/kitchen person very helpfully gave me the recipe! Lovely spot, always visit when in the area

Gorgeous set up....especially like the conservatory area at the back..it looks into their gardens which are delightful. We've been here many times and the setting and food is always good. It can get very busy. Its always fun to come out afterwards and take a little stroll along the seafront there...the kids always enjoy the pier. If youre lucky the... More

First of all, the desserts look spectacular! I got a cup of coffee and waited in the garden for a table. This place is busy! It was a bank holiday, however. Everything looked wonderful on the menu. I ordered the curried chicken with grapes, almonds and red onion on brown bread. I added a cup of tomato chick pea soup.... More
