We were staying at Gregan's Castle hotel nearby but their dinner menu did not suit our vegetarian tendencies and flexibility so we dropped into Hyland's for dinner without booking in advance. The service was excellent, the menu was excellent and the food was excellent. I...More

If you go and expect pub fare, you'll be happy. The open-faced crab sandwich was really good, as were the kids' fish fingers. Our server was polite and the ambiance pleasant enough.

Hyland's has good food - fresh and well prepared. Like most places, it can get busy, so don't expect speedy service when they are crowded - I don't hold it against them.

The burger was cooked perfectly and the honey mustard glaze on a moist piece of salmon were all very good. The atmosphere is very traditional and charming. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Good selection, good service, lovely atmosphere in the bar. They have very friendly staff and often have music at night. Even by day, if there is a GAA match on, the atmosphere here is great

We stayed in The Waters Countey House and as they only cater for breakfast we came here to Hylands Burren Restaurant and the food was fab! The staff were so friendly and would definitely eat here again when visiting again :-)
