Had read an Irish Times review of this restaurant and reserved a table for two on a Sunday evening. We ate from the early dinner menu and had two delicious courses for the rock-bottom price of €16.50 per person. Service was attentive and food beautifully presented. We'll be back the next time Letterkenny is in our travel plans!

The Lemon Tree was recommended to us so we can't claim to have found this gem ourselves. It's been around for years apparently and just gets better with time. I had a terrine of chicken and leek to start followed by hake with chorizo risotto - divine. DH had snowed bacon risotto followed by a braised lamb dish - he... More

Was staying the weekend in Letterkenny and had heard of this restaurant. We were a party of 3 so popped in for a meal after a long drive from Belfast. We were quickly greeted and seated on entering by a very helpful and cheerful member of staff. We placed orders for drinks and after about 10 mins we placed our... More

High quality tasty food presented beautifully. Service was excellent, not too over the top but friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a nice romantic meal in lovely surroundings and would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant whilst in Letterkenny. Plus great value for money!

Have been here a few times this year and never fails to disappoint. Fabulous food and always friendly helpful staff. Usually try out something different on each visit and still cannot be faulted. My boyfriend and I are still raving about the baileys cheesecake, (sooo yum). Cant wait to return!

Pretty much a flawless restaurant, the starters of the Pork Spring Roll and the fish cakes were outstanding! Fish for mains, really hit the spot too! Now let me talk about the desert. Shared a Baileys cheesecake, and was so so sooooo good, it made me a bit emotional (not really, but was to die for)! Service also very good!

Description
The Lemon tree is a Letterkenny owned family run restaurant opened in 1999. The three brothers in the kitchen have a unique style with a mixture of traditional Irish and French classic, influenced by country house cooking which was collected by their many years experience all over Irleand. All meats are Irish sourced and fresh fish is a special feature. Everthing is made freshly on site including all breads, pastries, pastas and desserts. The Wine list is ever growing and includes something for all tastes. The restaurant offers a Early bird menu 7 days available from 5 - 7 pm and a full A la carte menu from 5 - 10 PM. Lunch is available from 1 - 2:30 PM on Sunday
