Great menu with a range of food to suit anyone! Tasted good. Service was also good however some of the time felt getting attention of staff was hard

The menu looked very appetizing and with no reservation the staff were great ar accommodating us. Starters were a bit disappointing as we found them a bit bland (blow torched mackerel and bacon and mushroom risotto). The mains were delicious (scallop starter with delicious side salad and chicken and chorizo risotto). Ordered creme brulee for desert and although it tasted... More

We had a beautiful meal in the Lemon Tree, just popped in tonight and given a table straight away with no fuss and with lovely service! We were on time for the early bird special (starter and main for €16.50) we both had smoked bacon and mushroom risotto...cleared my plate, it was delicious! My partner had steak (€5 extra) and... Had read an Irish Times review of this restaurant and reserved a table for two on a Sunday evening. We ate from the early dinner menu and had two delicious courses for the rock-bottom price of €16.50 per person. Service was attentive and food beautifully presented. We'll be back the next time Letterkenny is in our travel plans!

The Lemon Tree was recommended to us so we can't claim to have found this gem ourselves. It's been around for years apparently and just gets better with time. I had a terrine of chicken and leek to start followed by hake with chorizo risotto - divine. DH had snowed bacon risotto followed by a braised lamb dish - he... More

The Lemon tree is a Letterkenny owned family run restaurant opened in 1999. The three brothers in the kitchen have a unique style with a mixture of traditional Irish and French classic, influenced by country house cooking which was collected by their many years experience all over Irleand. All meats are Irish sourced and fresh fish is a special feature. Everthing is made freshly on site including all breads, pastries, pastas and desserts. The Wine list is ever growing and includes something for all tastes. The restaurant offers a Early bird menu 7 days available from 5 - 7 pm and a full A la carte menu from 5 - 10 PM. Lunch is available from 1 - 2:30 PM on Sunday
