Had lunch here one Saturday. Was greeted as I entered and given a seat. As it was very busy with customers I was asked if I minded someone else sitting at my table. There was a steady flow of customers and some waiting on tables. I ordered fish and chips which was a decent portion and very tasty. The staff... More

A lovely place to go for your tea. Really spotless and lovely chips. It is a cafe and doesn't try to be anything else. A plain cafe but a very good one.

I am a manager of a succesfull homemade food take away in the south. Ive ventured to many of the hugely overprice food takeaway establishments in letterkenny and im very disappointed with my trip to charlies. I consider charlies to be a goldmine if it was run better. The menu in the takeaway is short and simple. However, i ordered... More

We enjoy going to Charley's Cafe for a fish and chip tea. There is a good choice on the menu for anyone who does not like fish. There is also a good children's menu.

Had been told about this 'Cafe' so decided to call. I have never tasted chips like them. Oh my word. They were so good we went the next day to fill up before our journey home. The chicken curry is wonderful. The staff were really friendly, considering we only went in 5 minutes before closing!

Charleys cafe does exactly what it says on the box and does it very well. Great breakfasts, fantastic fish & chips and battered sausages at a reasonable rate. Staff efficient and pleasant. If you're looking for homemade chips look no further.

Description
I suggested this restaurant earlier but did not get a response. It is a friendly, family run business that has fantastic fish and chips. They are fresh chips, not the frozen kind which was a lovely surprise.
