I would have been a regular in here for many years, but lately the bar food has dropped in standards. I don't know if there has been a change in chefs but the presentation and quality of the meals have definitely taking a down turn. on my last visit to the Kilmore I got a stir fry- really taught I... My husband and I go to the Kilmore about twice a month for the best pub lunch around. We love a good carvery and the Kilmore is hard to beat. Great service too.

Food standard in restaurant. If you don't like basil pesto there is not much to eat. They garnish the plates of food with it. Steak swimming in it. My husband hates pesto so it ruined his meal. Does not say on the menu about the pesto so beware. Very expensive.

Our family members have been stopping into the Kilmore Restaurant for years now but not anymore. Walked in for the first time and could just tell there was a bad atmosphere. The chef was rude and arrogant, basically threw the food at you when you asked her, and when we were paying the "manager", I'm guessing thats who she was,... More

I stayed here on a weekday recently and it was a pleasant surprise to see the standard of the room. If staying ask for one of the new rooms, they are fantastic. I was to late arriving to have food but a great girl working in the bar managed to arrive back with some toasties, breakfast was fresh cooked and... More

I would be a frequent visitor to the Kilmore for lunch & I have noticed the quality of the lunch offered has dropped. I used to so enjoy it but i will not be returning there in the near future. I was there last week for lunch , I decided on the beef , I got two small, very thinly... More

I 've eaten many times in the Kilmore Hotel cause it's often convenient through its location on the Dublin Road. I never been totally disappointed nor totally satisfied after eating in the Kilmore. Like 3 stars suggest it is average in many ways. Interior shows signs of the heavy usage it underwent. Food is OK but not great ,prices on... More

The meal was very tasty when it arrived but due to the amount of people the lack of staff meant it took longer to get to the table. I feel they should take into account if they know they are going to have big numbers on a particular night that they could maybe open a small function room and have... More
