Much enjoyed for a quick evening meal on the lighter side. Two sisters enjoyed again later that evening for a nitecap!

Good service and pretty decent food in what feels like a traditional pub located in the Powerscourt Hotel.

While staying at the hotel, we discovered this pub restaurant. The food is quite good, the service was wonderful, and the prices are good. A nice place to just chill, visit, have some good food and drink at a descent price. It is nicely decorated . My wife and I both had the fish and chips and it was really... More

Was rather disappointed with McGills especially when it's situated with in the wonderful Powerscourt hotel. Bangers and Mash was just ok, portions were small and Sausages were not to my liking. Limited menu, Wife was also very disappointed with Quesadilla meal. Will try again as maybe we chose the wrong items but this visit was just ok.

Drink is a little bit more expensive than your average pub but there is a great atmosphere here with great entertainment. You wouldn't think you were inside a hotel bar it feels more like a little irish pub in the country.

We ate here both nights & the food was good. Staff here & throughout the hotel are brilliant. Very friendly. I found it a bit pricey but it's in a 5 star hotel so to be expected. However I do find over €6 for a pint of beer over the top. I haven't paid anyway close to this & I... More

It looks like a real pub which given the ambience of the whole hotel is a bit weird. But the food was good and the service speedy and proper!

We enjoyed our meal here on our last night in Ireland. Conveniently located within the hotel we were able to have a drink and grab a bite without having to fret driving on the narrow lanes. The staff was friendly, and the food very good. I was Guinness'ed out so the local beer recommendation was welcome.

Everything you would expect from an Irish pub in the the corner of a luxury hotel. Good drinks, lovely atmosphere and live music on selected nights make for a little oasis of Irish pub culture. Very popular with fellow guests after attending a business at the main venue during the day.conference

This Irish pub is more than a name or an address: it embodies a spirit of friendly congeniality, a culture of conversation and story. McGill's manifests this magnificently, full of interesting artefacts and memorabilia, with a wonderful bar, made for elbows. As well as a fine selection of whiskeys, beers and stouts, McGill's offers a tasty menu of wholesome, traditional dishes, prepared and served with imagination and style.
