We had a lovely meal here - really good food and very pleasant atmosphere. Beaumont is such an interesting town and well worth spending time to get to know it - don't miss the night market either.

We stumbled upon this nice place while we were visiting the town of Beaumont du Perigord. We did not make any prior research (usually we are planning and looking for good places to eat) so we were just hoping to find something nice to eat,...More
Despite living near Beaumont, we had never had an evening meal at Chez Claudette, so decided to rectify that. We will be hoping again. The choice was good, with Karen in particular pleased to see a good choice of fish dishes for both starters and...More
This little bistro is on a back street in the tiny village of Beaumont du Perigord and it is a wonderful place for lunch. The 13.50 euro lunch included a glass of wine and coffee. Hard to beat that value and the food was good....More
Rolled up on a Tuesday about12.30, no problem to get a table. We had the menu du jour @ 13.50 - fish terrine escalope of chicken, sauce colombo cheese or dessert, which was fruit tart house wine & coffee included All very good.

Our second time in this unassuming excellent restaurant. The food is very good at a reasonable price. We have not explored the whole menu but can heartily recommend the mushroom omelettes and the saute potatoes. Well used by local French and with a good choice...More
We arrived in the Dordogne on Monday, and visited Beaumont the following day. On the recommendation of friends we had lunch at Chez Claudette. This was a rather simple straight forward affair - plat du jour at a reasonable price. The entrecôte was nicely prepared,...More
This is a little restaurant just two minutes from the square and its more touristy cafes and restaurants. We liked the French flavour of it when we saw it while walking around the town. We went for lunch. We were tempted to have the plat...More
We have enjoyed very good three course lunches and wine for 13 Euro and have found them filling and tasty. Worth trying if visiting this charming Bastide town.
