We were on our way to Nimbin from Tweed Heads and found this a most convenient and pleasant place to make a stop. We sat outdoors in a gentle wooded setting. We had coffee and a piece of cake. The coffee was great. It is always a pleasure to get a really good flat white! We were a little disappointed... More

Dropped by for a coffee and breakfast, and was delighted with the food, service and bonus live music! Selected eggs hollandaise off a menu with a good range to choose from. The hollandaise sauce was done to perfection in a classic untweaked style, the poached eggs perfectly cooked, and an ample portion of spinach on the side....prrrfect! Coffee was also... More

Sadly, this is 'not' a great review. My girlfriend & I went there for a hot drink, but unfortunately, they didn't tell us that their Chai Tea & hot chocolate were both made with a very sugary syrup. I told them I was allergic to sugar & they simply shrugged & didn't care. We also had cake that was so... More

Mum, my hubby and I were returning from a trip up to Blackbutt Lookout in the Border Ranges one Saturday recently, and decided to stop at the Sphinx Rock Cafe for lunch. Amazing tasting and quality food...brilliant, friendly service...all at very reasonable prices. There's a great area set aside for kids to play in, lots of grass for them to... More

Food is amazing, and very flavoursome. Service is quick and for the most part friendly but seems to be in a rush. Strange vibe sometimes but I think I'm just too stoned It's a Very nice local cafe

I've had a few meals here and most of the time the food is good. They are only licensed to sell wine or beer with main meals, around $20 ish, they are generous enough and have a good variety. Small amount of indoor seating, most of it is outside. Music on Sunday afternoons is a hit. Great for kids with... More

In the middle of nowhere this looked like an interesting option. We are so glad we stopped! Service friendly, food great, nice atmosphere with live music and beautiful setting near the creek. Will definitely come back. Thank you!
