Excellent place to eat.Lovely selection of salads with bruschetta or pizza slice.Well worth a visit & very hard to decide on what to eat with such a good choice. Also excellent choice of cakes with a big pot of tea for one.Pity it doesn't get a face lift on the outside as it isn't very welcoming but much nicer inside .So... On a trip with husband, 20-year-old daughter, daughter's friend and friend's mother -- spent the morning on the Cliffs and were cold and hungry. Read about the Café in the Lonely Planet guide and LOVED IT! Doesn't look like much outside (small white building), but inside is charming, and the food was great. Amazing soup, delicious sandwiches, and oh the... More

Went here for lunch one day with my girlfriend while on vacation from Canada. We had cold salad with a savory pastry, then tea and scones for dessert. Everything was great, including the service!

This was one of my wife and I's favorite meals. Fantastic price, great service and hospitality. The owner came over and talked with us and cheered us right up after we lost our passports haha. The whole meal from start to finish was great and we weren't sure when we drove up what we were going to get. We tried... More

This was our first breakfast experience in Ireland, as we were headed north to Cliffs of Mohr and it wasn't open yet. We continued to Doolin for breakfast, and found this quait little café. One waitress with a pretty full complement of guests, but she handled it well and with a happy face. The bakery section is wonderful, and we... More

My husband went this place in the morning to pick up coffee. The lady was lovely and she accepted a card even though they don't accept cards for less than 10€. We really appreciated it since there's no atm in Doolin. We went back there for lunch. There was a different lady working. Our 4 year old boy was walking... More

We wanted a light bite to eat on our trip to the Cliffs of Moher and my father-in-law has a friend who said "when you visit Doolin, Ireland you MUST eat at the Doolin Cafe!" We were impressed with the knowledge and courtesy of the wait staff when we asked questions about how certain menu offerings were prepared. The homemade... More

I believe the cafe is open for breakfast and lunch in Sreptember. The sandwiches are fresh, and excellent with good selection including pizza. The cafe is cozy but not large although it does handle busses.
