The antipasto dinner is so plentiful. We had some kind of bean dish, not sure what it was but I'm going to send a picture & maybe someone can tell me. The various cheeses and meats were all very tasteful and the house wine was superb. We had a wonderful experience and were treated as honored guests which made the... More

Visited Bovino, where our ancestors were from. Happened on Osteria Ndo' Save'rie and Save'rie was a generous host. Eight courses, all food handmade by Save'rie. It was the authentic experience we hoped for.

The owner serves excellent local food and wine. The amount of antipasti is almost endless. Don't forget to try the homemade cheeses. Very well and surprising ingredients.

Not your usual menu restaurant but everything cooked from fresh ingredients in the same open planned room, host brings you many original 'bites' to try, even if not asked for 👌 they are proud of their recipes and take delight in offering home cooked food. The trick is to accept and enjoy the traditional flavours and casual dining experience

It is unfortunate that we wanted to go to this "in-a-jar" restaurant based on the great reviews here on Tripadvisor. My only explanation is that this restaurant must of changed owners. The entire meal was made from jars and pre-purchased items. The "waiter" (rude, rude, rude) could be heard preparing the meals - opening jars, wrinking butcher paper - and... More

I just finished a tour of the Amalfi coast/islands and a few days in Rome with my girlfriend. In between we stopped in Bovino for a night and I must say, dinner at this place topped every other meal we had on the trip. Ingredients were all sourced, grown and/or made by the owner...it was unbelievably authentic. We walked in... More

Severio and his wife Francesca served us such a brilliant meal that we went here twice during our trip to Bovino. We are vegetarian and he was very helpful. There is no menu but he keeps bringing out the dishes - a huge variety of local cheeses, roasted and pickled vegetables, breads, wine, pasta, dessert, all home made in front... More

Authentic is the first word that comes to mind, and delicious, in the way grandma meals were, homemade with what there is in the vegetable garden, orchard and pantry (previously homemade and preserved). Once you get over the no menu idea it is fabulous! Saverio, the owner, is passionate about food and is a pleasure to listen to. We had... More
