The restaurant is located in Chora center and serves fresh fish and seafood. We ordered a variety of fresh fish, some starters and wine. The quality of the food is very good, it tastes amazing, the service is fast and polite and the prices are normal. The owner takes the time to chat with you and he even have us... More

Our first impression was not the best : the owner (?) was very nervous for no obvious reason. When he finally found a table for us, we asked about the freshly catched fishes and the choice was very limited. It was only 9 pm which is not late for Greece. For 4 people, he told us we had to pick... More

On a relaxed and friendly island like Folegandros one becomes accustomed to trusting the hosts of eating establishments, many of whom are local home cooks who cater for the tourists during the six months of the year they visit to share some this charming and unspoiled piece of traditional Greek life. With fresh seafood in mind for dinner, we felt... More

This is one of the places to go to if you want to have some fish in Chora Folegandros. Nice setting and atmosphere, it can get quite busy around 8-9:00pm. A decent selection of fish dishes to choose from. You can go and check the fish that they have for the day if you want. Friendly staff that will try... More

The Chrisophilia is described as a fish taverna. It operates on both sides of one of the narrow streets of the Chora. It does serve food other than seafood, however it does have a good choice of seafood dishes. It also has a good wine list and the rose that we drank was very good and much better than the... More

Many seafood choices but also the meat lovers won't be disappointed. Excellent service and very friendly people. As for the wine list sort but complete. The owners choice for the wine was perfect. Rose from Peloponnese. Excellent.

We enjoyed the fish soup for 2 here, it's like a bouliabase filled with 3 different types of delicious. Their Greek salad and fava beans were also delicious. The service was fantastic, and the main waiter really made an effort to make us feel welcome. We returned the following night. Lovely complimentary desert provided as well!

We sat at Chrisospilia because we were told that Folegandros is a good place to try fresh fish. There were not the fish mentioned in the menu,so we ordered a mixed fish plate for which we paid both around 25 euros not to mention the expensive Greek salad and appetizers. The fish did not taste fresh nor delicious. We were alone in... More
