Menu of the day is €17 including wine. Reasonable choice (5 or so starters, main courses and deserts to choose from) Menu is only in Spanish so google translate was needed

I arrived here for a late lunch. It's quite cozy place with a local charm. The staff is welcoming and friendly despite they speak only Spanish. Menu is't big but clear and with English explanation. Local 'house' wine was from 2010 and just excellent despite...just 5.5 EUR per bottle. I have ordered lamb and it was really soft and delicious. It's pity I hadn't time to visit the place one more time during my stay in el Grado.More

By the road one may be unimpressed. Inside one finds a well appointed restaurant with table cloths and a friendly host. This time of the year they have a special selection of appetizers or salads based on that outstanding tomato, "tomate rosa", with a variety...of adds on. We had some with salmon or tuna. Amazing. As main we chose their signature dish, pigs feet with snails. An excellent variation of a traditional dish. The bread was excellent and the wine selection very good and at reasonable prices. Shaded parking is available by the side.More

We had lunch here: we tried the lamb, which was good, the beed steak, which was ok, and the salmon, which was so and so (a bit too oily).

Despite the many friends who go here in July/August having good experiences I do not rate this place in comparison with other restaurants in the area. Service, food and ambience is average. Children with us were made to feel unwelcome.
