Definitely the Best Café on the Central Coast. Super friendly and professional staff, Service is superb. Killcare is a gorgeous location. The Coffee at the Fat Goose is to Die for, with delicious Brunch options to Match.

A friendly welcome, good coffee and an interesting menu pre-empted a delicious breakfast. The Half tide rocks, mushrooms on toast with an added couple of perfectly poached eggs was a generous portion of buttery, juicy mushrooms that satisfied. My friend chose the kedgeree. What a great item to have on a breakfast menu. A subtle combination of spices and rice... More

Went for breakky yesterday. We were there for an hour and ten minutes and only saw 9 plates of food come out of the kitchen. There were three cooks in kitchen and only a half full courtyard. No apologies and no real recognition of any of the customers getting increasingly impatient. Once our food did arrive (after 45mins) my mushrooms... More

I had actually been finding the Central Coast a little dull, except for the big ticket attractions. Then we happened across the Fat Goose. It is a bakery/cafe and the croissants are superb, the staff friendly, and the ambiance is comfortable but a bit exotic. Just lovely. We went back several times and loved each visit. If you are staying... More

We stumbled across this coffee shop whilst out and about one day. The service was punctual and friendly and we didn't wait very long for our meals. The kids milkshakes were a good size and my mango smoothie was absolutely delicious. I'd come back just for that! It was good to see that the pies contained real beef and not... More

Good site, pleasant courtyard, and attentive staff. Good breakfast menu sensibly priced and excellent coffee. Will certainly revisit.

Let me say that on a hot Sunday afternoon the Fat Goose has a pleasant interlude of.a courtyard but, from my experience, you need to be prepared to allow a cool, shaded spot turn into a spot in the sun before you get served your food. A request for wine glasses ignored - a significant delay before the orders were... More

We came back here a few times for the coffee, having not been completely scared off by the barista's frenetic dinging of the service bell. There were not enough wait staff serving, and consequently it took 30 minutes to take our food order. While the coffee was good, the food was disappointing. I ordered the shakshuka, anticipating eggs baked in... More

My husband and I came here on a date for breakfast and it was a delightful experience! The menu has a few of the regular items, but it also has lots of really interesting and delicious looking alternatives for breakfast which is just delightful. We shared the surfboard breaky (can't remember the exact name but its the last item on... More

Enjoyed a sausage roll and salad. Just enough for a great holiday lunch. Whilst busy, assigned waitress very attentive. Was a struggle to make humorous conversation due to language barrier, however command of English good and we smiled and laughed together.
