Welcome to McCabe’s Ice Cream and thank you for stopping by. We're a boutique ice cream shoppe that takes pride in handcrafting premium, old-fashioned ice cream. Our ice cream is made in New Brunswick, Canada, using all-natural flavours.

Writing this review many years after we visited (although the furthest back possibel to select was last summer, so the date shown here is not accurate) because we just were talking about good ice cream we have had over the years and remembered this place. As some other reviews note, the ice cream was expensive, especially for such a simple place. But it was particularly tasty, and the owner had a compelling argument about why it was different from the usual. We thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream, and hope to come back some time.

Since your review, McCabe's Ice Cream has undergone a management change and a complete revamping of both our shops while still offering the same delicious, handcrafted, old-fashioned cream that you enjoyed. Visited both locations of McCabe's Ice Cream and was blown away by the recent updates. The renovations looked so nice and had plenty Instagram-worthy areas for photos. The pricing also seems to be cheaper from when I visited in previous years. I have tried the chocolate, strawberry, raspberry and maple flavours and all of the were absolutely delicious and so rich in flavour. My favourite is the raspberry and chocolate. I see a few past reviews mentioning charges to use the bathroom but I don't think this is a thing anymore with the new ownership. The bathrooms have been updated and were free to use. The owners at both locations were also super friendly. I recommend this spot to bring your kids or for a cute date. I definitely will be visiting again soon :)

What a great find traveling through New Brunswick. The shop is beautiful and the ice cream was fantastic! Lovely owners! The business has been in the family since the 80’s. Our only regret is that we couldn’t have more. We we’re so full! Hoping to go back on our way home!

What a pleasant surprise! Been driving for hours, saw the sign and pulled in for the best home made ice cream ever! Try the maple cream or the fresh raspberry! So good!

Stopped here because i saw a sign on the highway . Totally revamped . Excellent flavours of ice cream. Nice new owners . Pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced . Likely to return .
