Great food, can recommend the Derbyshire burger and the Steak Ale and Mushroom pie. Home brewed beer has a unique taste and was so good we bought some take out. Excellent food knowledge by the staff, friendly atmosphere.

If you are walking on Stanton moor and would like a decent pint then pop down the road to the red lion with its own brewery. The tawny ale was very good

Hi, Yes, we allow dogs in our tap room which is the first room you come into when you enter the pub. We serve food in this area, but generally do not take bookings for the tap room. Hope this helps.
