Service a little on the slow side. Ambience is very pleasant and good both for dinner and/or a romantic evening and a friends outing. The food is of good quality, but somewhere in the upper mid-range of what one would expect from pretty much any...More

Amazing overall experience, booked a table for two for the Teppanyaki experience, even though they were nearly fully booked they managed to fit us in. The chef's performance was superb and enthralling, he was very funny and undeniably skilled at the same time. All Teppanyaki...More

The most delicious sushi ever, really clean, warm surroundings and exceptional staff. A visit to Malta wouldn't be complete without dining here. Food expertly prepared and tastes even more delicious than it looks, staff wonderful at explaining the various dishes and offering recommendations.

If I remember correctly there is an entrance from the parking lot. However, I would suggest that you would simply give them a call.

Description
Zen was Malta's first Japanese restaurant and it is still widely regarded to be the best, with a wide selection of specialities and delicacies including miso soup, sushi, sashimi, vegetable & prawn tempura, as well as fish, meat and vegetarian dishes traditionally cooked and served in our Teppanyaki private room. The contemporary style of the restaurant blends effortlessly with the chic menu, providing an all-round, Japanese-style dining experience. Japanese cuisine is a ritual in itself - a celebration of time-honoured traditions, fresh ingredients and charming hospitality. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide you - whether this is your first taste of Japanese cuisine or the latest of many!
