We recently visited The Guild for a family meal. The food was great and our waitress Megan couldn't do enough for us. Plus the added benefit of the soft play which my 4 year old thought was amazing!!

Met a friend for lunch here today. Was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Firstly, unlimited Costa coffee and soft drinks (once you buy one). Also some great value (and tasty) pub meals. The lunch time menu is really good value - We had two courses each - and paid under £15 for the two of us - bargain! We... More

We visited this establishment on Sunday lunchtime and we were seated with brilliant timing , the carvery looked very appetising and tasted delicious , service was second to none and in particular I must mention the service from a young waitress Amy b , who was absolutely outstanding . Our visit was on a Friday at around 6.15pm. We looked for an available table and managed to get one that hadnt got lots of dirty plates on. Ordered food at the bar, fish and chips, to be told 30 minutes wait, I had a refillable lemonade, given an empty glass and directed to a machine to get it filled... More

Took kids for the large play area. Service was slow, food was very bad, pretty much just frozen and baked, deep fried or microwaved. Nothing to be inspired about. Whole place had a bad atmosphere that no one cared about it, not the staff of the customers who just seemed as disappointed about the service and food as I was.... More

We booked to have a late Sunday lunch last week, having 4 adults and 2 children in our party. Personally, I am now looking at meals from a wheat and dairy free angle due to medical conditions. The service was particularly slow, but the place was not particularly busy. Admittedly, we did ask the waiter to come back in a... More
