A hot hot sunny day......We needed to chill out!!! Three of us headed out on a Pedalo on to the lake and had over an hour exploring, swimming and pedalling! Two of us enjoyed, shade, wine, lemonade, calypos and lashings of water. A good spot on any day.

Has always been a great setting but the much improved Chill Out in Mervent didn't,t deliver on quality of the set midday formula. Mixed salad starter was uninspiring and the chicken in cream sauce and sauté potatoes was poor with a token lettuce leaf. Either improve the quality or drop your price if you are going to increase your foot fall

Vous venez plusieurs fois et tout est toujours parfait, vous ne mettez aucun avis, hier cela vous a semblé moins irréprochable et 30 minutes après vous nous notez...La sanction est sévère pour un impair :( Nous ne sommes que des humains et non des machines. Plutôt que de regretter et commenter, il est préférable de demander à votre serveur/serveuse de changer ou compléter votre assiette. Nous l'aurions fait bien volontiers.
La formule du midi à 12 € l'entrée et le plat (100 % Frais Fait Maison) est pourtant très demandée de nos clients.
J'espère que vous reviendrez chez nous pour vivre une meilleure expérience.

First time in my life I have been subject to racism. The waitress referred to me and my husband as "roast beef" in a derogatory tone to a French couple behind us. I will never go there again and advise other Brits that you may not feel welcome.

Awesome spot on the water and the setting sun! Happened upon this lovely place on our way back to our vacation rental in Longeville Sur Met after spending the afternoon in Clisson. We arrived before they opened but they graciously served us drinks on the patio while we waited for the dinner service. They are a very nice family and the setting was lovely. The food was excellent! We did not expect such a fine dining experience. Please give them a try!

Caught up with family here whilst on holiday in Vouvant. Good menu, great steaks, nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful service.
Great location at the edge of the lake with terrific views. A most enjoyable evening.

Pleasant team, very friendly and attentive to customers. A magnificent setting, come and enjoy the landscape, a drink on the terrace, and a little pedal boat ride to eliminate!! 😅We will come back. Thank you for this moment ☺️👌

Having read some of the previous reviews, I can't imagine the people who have left a bad review ate at the same place. The atmosphere was brilliant, service good, banter with the staff good and food good. Absolutely would recommend.

6 of us popped in for lunch, 3 had mussels and three had fish and rice. Very tasty and a lovely view of the lake from the deck.
Staff were a nice bunch, too and we would definitely return

Was back in France visiting family and the first place kids wanted to go was the chill out. Set by the beautiful lake. It didn’t disappoint. Fabulous Friendly service, even with having to police the Covid restrictions. All the food was fantastic and staff were attentive and welcoming. We are here for 2 weeks and will definitely be back. Loved it.
