We sought a location to experience authentic flamenco and tourist information pointed us to El Pasaje. What a great place. Basic, simple but just full of character and authenticity. Local beer, sherry or soft drinks on offer and at really reasonable prices. We went for a lunchtime visit and had a selection of tapas. Served straight stood at the bar... More

Fabulous bar, tiny but full of atmosphere, tapas €2/2.50, sherry which I haven't drank in years €1. On certain days passionate flamenco. I'm getting a taste for sherry !!!!

A Wednesday night in January in Jerez. What a great way to warm up, live local music performed with passion in a real traditional bar. Packed to the rafters

Highly recommended to get a good picture of traditional flamenco and try good sherry and tapas in the city centre. Free show every night of flamenco songs (although just 'cante', not dance). Show starts around 9.00 pm. If you reserve a table you will enjoy the show much better.

I came for the Flamenco, with the show that night starting at 9 pm (best to walk by during the day to see when things are on). Fantastic vocal and guitar performance by the duo that evening. Sherries of all types available out of the cask for 1-1.5 Euros per glass. There are tables which you can sit at with... More

This place is always a must when we visit Jerez. The music is authentic Andalusia flamenco and always get spontaneous crowd participation. Last night a group of " ladies of a certain age" were on a night out and they got up on the small stage to dance....it was blooming brilliant!! I can't have enough of this place, I and... More

Excellent tapas, very good atmosphere and flamenco music in an authentic place from Jerez; and excellent prices. I believe most people that go there once during a stay in Jerez will return there most of their remaining nights.

The place is extremely famous in Jerez and I thought it would be one of these place where you don't really get why they are famous for. But now I know. The marinade artichoke tapa is delicious and so is the different types of wine they serve. I also had "mosto", originally a grape juice, but here they content alcohol!... More

Went to the El Pasaje on the recommendation of our AirBnB host and what a fantastic find. The real Spain, only beer and sherry on offer, very basic tapas served on grease proof paper, virtually no seats, your bill written in chalk on the bar and what flamenco. Flamenco on daily at 10am and 10pm. We went to the 10pm... More
