All the tables near the stage were booked when we arrived, but we found a seat around the corner in the front part of the bar. Had six different very basic tapas and was disappointed in the poor quality. The menudo was 95 percent garbonzo...More

This is a small place in the heart of Jerez where you can find live flamenco music each night (for free). It is the real thing not the tourist stuff you often get. You can drink sherry and have tapas. On our recent visit to...More

Excellent Sherry, tapas, and atmosphere we visited several times during the Flamenco festival. During the performances this place is rammed! but fantastic atmosphere and really friendly

the sherry served in small glasses along with perhaps some cheese or whatever is a must for roaming the streets of Jerez. If one can catch some spontaneous singing or dancing before any organised show it adds to the pleasure

A classic tabanco, with sherry from the barrel. Great sherry, and a decent selection of tasty tapas. The bar also features live flamenco, so is a good place to get a flavour of flamenco, without making the commitment of going to a show. All made...More

We visited this Tabanco (it's a bar with a small Tapas selection so please do not think it is a restaurant) on the back of reviews. We booked a table for the first visit & you really do need to book in advance if you...More

Very traditional little bar, I finally tried fresh, chilled Manzanilla in the real home of sherry. I love tradional bars and the lady behind the bar was lovely, very friendly. No flamenco, but it didnt matter.

A great little bar with a really good atmosphere. The tapas is basic but very good. Flamenco performances twice a day make it a good place to eat and drink if you want a taste of Jerez.

Some tables had been reserved near the stage. You can go early and just stand at the back near the bar. Does get very crowded and the venue is small.

Normally El Pasaje´s Flamenco show is not everyday - usually Thursday, Friday, Sat Sun. Though there is a good chance that during the Flamenco Festival they will offer more days / times. There is information on the doors... More
